About this tool
Convert integers between any radix from binary (base 2) to base 36. Arbitrary-precision arithmetic means numbers of any size convert exactly — including the 256-bit and 512-bit values common in crypto.
decimal value = Σ digitᵢ × baseⁱ · target digits = repeated division by the target base
Frequently asked questions
Which digits are valid in base 36?
0–9 then a–z, giving 36 digits total. Case is accepted and normalized to lowercase in output.
Are there precision limits?
No. Conversion uses BigInt, so values far beyond Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER — like Ethereum private keys or SHA-256 hashes — convert exactly.
