Give it a URL and get back the metadata an agent needs to reference the page: title, description, Open Graph image, canonical URL and favicon. Fetching happens server-side with an SSRF guard (private networks blocked, redirects re-validated, hard size and time caps) so it is safe to expose.

What is SSRF protection and why does it matter?
A URL-fetching service can be abused to probe internal networks. This tool resolves the hostname first and refuses private/loopback/link-local addresses, follows redirects manually with re-validation, and caps response size and time.
Does it render JavaScript?
No — it reads the served HTML. Most sites put Open Graph tags in static HTML precisely for social crawlers, so coverage is high.
